How to negotiate financial aid

I want to negotiate financial aid with NYU, but I'm not sure how to do it. Northwestern gave me more money...any advice on how to do this?

Don't bother. :/

Smilies06, I think you should just attend Northwestern. I love NYU but c'mon it's Northwestern!! That's my dream school but I was rejected. If you got in you should def. attend!

I hear NYU is actually rather receptive with regards to appeals, although you'll probably only get another one or two thousand.

You should NYU office of undergrad admissions for instructions, but it may be a waste of time since you'll only get a neglible raise in financial aid.

Unless you're set on Stern or Tisch, go to Northwestern :)

If you really want to go to NYU, my guidence counselor said to go to their Financial Aid office and then tell them that you would love to attend NYU, but because of the financial aid they're giving you, you don't think you can attend. Also, bring up the fact that Northwestern is giving you more money.
