How to not die from bad time management

I'm applying to several private high schools, and argagag all the interviews, student visits, entrance exams, finishing essays... I'm having to squish that in with school homework, tests, projects, and ec's. I'm starting to forget/lose track of interview dates (which would be too tragic if I missed one carelessly) and stuff.

So post your time management tips right here please. Thankyouthankyou

This works for me until I get hungry. I grab all my stuff, go the library and try to finish everything before I let myself come home. However, it's not my laziness that gets me, but my hunger. I have a high metabolism which results in me being crazy hungry if I don't eat every 2 hours.

I don't get it, what is that for?

so you stop browsing this site, now get off the internet and go do your stuff!

I don't browse, I post occasionally.

Get off of CC.

you guys are harsh. :) but really. good time management is to get of CC. very addictive and research indicates that 87.3% of an applicant to US schools wasted on CC. (my reasearhc, of cuirse) :D

My brother plays computer games all day
And I browse CC more than I should
but my parents get mad at me, even though I get better grades.
so i think the general consensus is that CC is harmful (maybe even more than addicting games =)

y'know, your statement NEARLY rhymed. :)

i dont see it man =\ =/ =|

seriously plan it and follow it. It really helps. I remember the time i had to finish a college essay, do an interview for two articles, write two articles, prepare for AP gov test, read for english, do government journals(i procrastinated). Basically with planning i pulled it off.

Yup, like imiracle said, just plan everything.
I suggest writing out all the interview dates and deadlines on a big sheet of paper.. or type it out on the computer.

If you are really swamped with all these stuff for a week or 4 days or whatever, write it in a planner or something. I have a school planner (like a diary) and it's really helpful. Like, I don't write what time I should do all the stuffs.. just like, what I have to do and it's priorities.

eg:
Monday: 1. Plan out my research paper for Bio. 2. Draft out my essay for X school. 3. Make notes for AP chem test.

This would be the minimum I will HAVE to do on monday. See how I wrote 'plan' 'draft' 'make notes' - not, "Do my research paper for Bio." "Do my essay for X school".
Make it specific. And if you think you have more time for studying for the AP chem test, (after you have completed all 3 goals), maybe like memorise functions of blah blah concepts of AP chem.
Sorry I'm not sure if it's clear.
