This week, I became a semi-finalist for my school’s public speaking contest. I am one of three Sophomores to make it this far, and I thought it would be wise to notify schools on this update!

I do have to wonder–how would you word that email?
You send it to the AO who did your interview (at each school) and say you just wanted to update him/her on some good news. Keep it short.
Send a concise email each AO, it’ll probably get printed and put inside your folder at each school for them to read.
Darn, I probably should’ve done that public speaking contest. It would’ve been a good thing to add to my application esp. since the freshman competition wasn’t tough.
AO’s don’t know how tough it is
