How to Organize Extracurricular Activities?

There are three questions below.

Most of the colleges asks to write only about 7~8 extracurricular activities in application form. I have various kinds of activities and I have no idea how to choose 7~8 things among those. How can I choose these?

Is academic extracurricular such as being a member of school physics research club can be written in extracurricular table? (Maybe it can be also written in academic honors/college programs table) Most examples of extracurricular are not academic at all.

Is an unofficial activitiy can be written in extracurricular table? Surely it is not listed in my transcript and I don’t think that it can be officially proved.

Plz answer these questions… .

if you're talking about a list of 7-8 extracurriculars, then choose the more impressive-sounding ones for the list, but remember to include the one or two that you've been very involved in and passionate about to focus on in your essay.

if you've achieved something significant in the school physics research club, then put it in - otherwise try to put something non-academic.

is that unofficial activity significant enough for that? if you did something like raise $25000 for a charity, then you should mention it. any person in charge of that activity who could write a letter for you?

but all in all, you should try to make the list tell a story - show an exceptional interest and passion in a field if you can. don't end up looking like a very confused and easily distracted jack of all trades.
