How to overcome a low GPA

Hello,

I graduated a year ago with a really low GPA (2.14) due personal issues that I had to go through while I was in college. I learned my lesson to not let such matters interfere

But now I want to apply to grad school (MBA) and I need to make up for the low GPA (besides work experience and GMAT)

I was told to take a Pre-MBA program or courses to improve my undergrad GPA

What would you recommend?
What types of course should I take? a graduate diploma? or what exactly?

Please help me

I read an article that suggested to use an admissions essay to explain the low gpa, the circumstances behind it, and how you plan on doing better this time around. try googling it.

Thank you RPILally

But how can I raise my GPA after graduating?

You can go to a community college and take some courses of interest to help boast your GPA.

If that doesn’t work, you should still look into the petition when applying depending on your ending GPA.
