How to overcome... Senioritis!

So the school starts on monday nextweek, and I'm already counting on my Graduation day..?? (9 more months to go!! yay! )anyone feel the same? High school life seems forever, and I just cannot wait to get out of here!

Why would you want to overcome such a disease?
(Only about 8 months till I out of class, 9 for graduation)

Yeah I understand and I'm only a junior but lucky for me I'm graduating in Dec. of my Senior year...

OMG.

Why?

You miss out on so much fun stuff! Winter Formal, Prom, Century Day...

doctorpark, I felt the same way last year (counting down the days), in fact, every senior did. But don't worry, before you know it graduation day will be here.

P.S. I had senioritis big time, and never got over it (well, until it was over).

Oh I never got over senioritis. Got two B's last year. Destroyed my 4.0. Damnit.

Some of my friends (who are sophomores) claim they've had senioritis since 8th grade.

ive had senioritis (if that is what you want to call it) since 8th grade but im trying to recover in my junior year

theres no cure
o well :)

same here since 8th grade up untill the end of 8th grade i did all my homework etc. and didnt really procrastinate. Since then i have had the worst work/study habits.

It really hasn't affected my grades, but i just have this terrible laziness.

This year im hoping to get past it.

there is a cure; we're just too lazy to find it

college starts in 2 weeks and i'm still feeling the senioritis... get used to it.

"there is a cure; we're just too lazy to find it" -Igiveineasily

I was about to say something to that effect, but you beat me to it! :)

I'm entering the infamous senior year as well (school doesn't start until another week here). But I'm looking forward to its end too, and am interested in seeing how i'll fair with senioritis. Crazy as it sounds, and I know it may be unbelievable, but I have heard--rumors, of course--thats some kids have been tested to be immune to that disease!

After 1st semester is over, I really don't care about high school anymore. I knew a junior who had senioritis during AP week and he got pwned on his exams =P.

i've had senioritis since jr year haha. I think I'll try to put some effort into my life the first semester, but once my college apps are in the mail...

forget it.

haha good luck to all you real seniors with senioritis. I'm just now a junior, and I've had it since 2nd semester last year. I'm trying really hard to stay motivated but.. At least you can count your time until graduation in months, not years. I do already have my pathetic countdown for MY graduation (634 days..) something to look forward to :D

626 days for me
