I can't apply for financial aid, and the school I'm applying to doesn't offer merit-based scholarships, or scolarships of any kind. I'm not sure how student loans work, or if we could somehow rebuget?

Loans for BS (unless they are small) don’t seem to be worth it. At least not to me. Remember you will be paying up these MASSIVE fees along with those for college. Also remember paying every little cent you have (that’s why there’s FA) won’t be a good idea because there are lot’s of things that will go beyond what you pay. Field trips, sports, study abroad, clothes, etc.

If it is because you are well above (if you are only a little above or you are not sure please apply for FA) the FA barrier, aka you KNOW that your parents can easily do the job then I understand. I was in a similar position.

Try Mercerberg, I believe they have merit scholarships.

gl

why not apply to a different school wth a scholarship like Merecerburg, which do

I am applying to some schools for merit scholarships and here are the main schools that offer them:
Mercersburg
Portsmouth Abbey
Suffield (half tuition)
Perkiomen School
Baylor School
Culver Academies

These are the main ones I know off the top of my head…

kent has a merit scholarship

baylors scholarship is only for 8th graders
