How to PM someone

I better start posting.

We tend to delete posts from new users that look like the only purpose is to build post count. That’s exactly what I did here.

There is a thread that I started that used insensitive language and came off much ruder than I ever could have wanted it to… Is there a way moderators could delete threads?

You need 15 substantive posts.

have you tried logging out and back in again? That should do the trick.

I’ll also once again point out that sending unsolicited PMs violates Terms of Service, so there should be no rush to reach 15 posts; most questions are better answered on the public forum. A user with less than 15 posts, though, is able to respond to a user that PMs him/her.

What do you mean by “unsolicited”? I have a question to private message someone and I’m not going to warn her before I do it, but it is very valid and something I need to PM her for.

The TOS state that posts are not edited on request.

What do you mean by “unsolicited”? I have a question to private message someone and I’m not going to warn her before I do it, but it is very valid and something I need to PM her for.

It’s OK to send a question.

If someone who is already a Junior member pms you, can you still respond if you aren’t, or do you need to make 15 random posts to respond?

You can respond to PMs with less than 15 posts. You just can’t start a PM

Hey quick question. Is it possible to PM the contributors i.e Berry or Rubenstone or do you have to be at a higher level than a Junior member? I did see similarly named accounts but I’m not sure if it’s them or just a normal user that decided to take up their names. A bit of a random question but I’d greatly appreciate an answer
