Do replies count as posts? On my profile it says I have 15 posts but for some reason I can’t PM.
I think you need 15 replies to someone else’s post. If that’s the case @CCadmin_Sorin may want to clarify it on the thread to which @skieurope linked in #16.
One needs 15 posts total. So both new threads and replies count. However, the move from New Member to Junior Member does not happen the nanosecond that one hits 15 posts. That conversion happens via an automated sweep according to a daily schedule.

I’m in the same situation as someone else on this thread was in (I just reached 15 posts but I am still unable to private message other people). @CCadmin_Sorin do you know what the problem might be?
@lilz001 Once you reach 15 posts, log out then log back in again. This should refresh your membership status.
What is the best strategy to get 15 posts?
Look around at current threads and find some where you can make an honest contribution. Is today’s music bad? Should Tufts be reporting their top10% stat? What was your least favorite college when you visited? These and a plethora of other questions await your input.

Is there a special trick for PMing on an iPad? I don’t see a PM option.
@MomofJ5 all you need to do is tap on the person’s avatar. You will get their profile page, and one of the Orange buttons says “message”. Tap that…and you will get a dialogue box.
Or scroll all the way to the top of your iPad screen. In the upper right corner of mine, there is a little envelope (next to a little star). Click on the little envelope…and you will get the box for sending a PM. You will need to type the screenname of the person in the box.
Wow, okay then. 13 more to go then!
