For not the last time, yes.
Thank you for letting me know about the 15 post requirement. I had been wondering for quite some while why I couldn’t PM.
Hello @CCadmin_Sorin - I am a relatively new member and have never posted before. I was looking to see how I could PM you to ask this question but apparently since I’ve never posted I can’t PM anyone.
I’ve been looking for information on how to change my username. When I chose it I wasn’t really thinking about privacy but given that I would like to begin posting I would like my username to be more anonymous. Can you please PM me with information on how to do this?
Thank you!
“Posts must be substantive, not spammy, to count towards the 15.”
Wait but who gets to decided whether its spam or not?
I do, or one of the other moderators. So, as an example, splitting a post into several smaller posts, which you did (and which I deleted the later ones) would also count as not being substantive.
does it still work with 15 pms?
You can’t initiate a PM until you make 15 posts.
Is it 15 points or 15 posts? I didn’t post any so far. My profile shows I have 15 points.
15 posts
@skieurope Is it possible to receive a PM if you aren’t a junior member?
Yes. New members can receive PMs and are able to respond to those PMs. They just cannot initiate PMs.
I have 15 replies and I can’t PM. I really wanted to PM someone I recently saw in a forum.
@collboy23, your posts don’t count as substantive, so I will be deleting most of them.
When you have 15 substantive posts, you need to log out and then back in before you can send PMs.
Problem solved, thanks
How to achieve junior member?
I have reached 16 posts, but I am still unable to send private messages. Has the number of posts required increased?
No. Log out and then log back in.
@CCadmin_Sorin @skieurope am I able to send a regular member and new member a pm and can they respond?
@Konohakatu Yes.
