How to practice for SATs?

I am going to be a junior next year, and yesterday I took my first SAT practice test just to get a feel for the test. I scored a 2010, 700 on math, 680 reading, 630 writing, and a 9 on the essay. By the time I take the real SAT, sometime during the upcoming school year, would it be realistic to be able to get a score above 2250. And in order to achieve a high score, how should I prepare, besides doing more practice exams.

Thanks

The best way to improve your score is by doing practice exams.

I don’t have much advice for studying because I’m not much of a studyer, but I will say that you should take practice test scores with a grain of salt. There are people on here freaking out when their practice test scores drop, but they can’t always be compared, especially if they’re from different sources. Similarly, you shouldn’t rely on SAT predictions based on PSAT scores.

It was a practice SAT test, not a psat, it was the 2006 SAT
