how to prepare for an essay???

<p>I'm going to write my college application during this summer.However,I have a few questions that confuse me.</p>

<p>1.)What is a common application essay?Does all this kind of essay have the same topic?If so,where can i find the topic?</p>

<p>2)How many essays do you need for a private school?public?</p>

<p>3)Is a common application essay a "must"?</p>

<p>I found the essay topics, as well as an entire application, at commonapps.com (might be .edu or .org, not sure)
I really don’t know how many essays private schools require, I do know that UC’s require 2 essays.</p>

<p>I think that the topics may change a bit when the forms are updated, but you can look over the application from this past year:
