How to prove my innocence?

<p>I don't want to discuss the situation here too much, but the guy thinks that I have been eavesdropping on his private conversations. I was not. What can I do to prove my innocence, if he ever decides to report me to authorities? Would I be allowed polygraph tests?</p>

<p>The better question is to ask: why?</p>

<p>Most places function on the principle of innocent until proven guilty for a reason: it’s not always possible to prove innocence (in fact, it’s impossible most of the time), but it is often possible to prove guilt.</p>
