<p>I have been wanting to do this for so long. I know there are people on CC who have published a book before, so if you have, could you please explain the process of getting a book published? </p>

<p>The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards (accessable through a google search) has a novel-writing category. It’s really a great opportunity. If your novel wins, it will be published by Scholastic. If it doesn’t, you’ll still recieve a page of feedback from the folks at Scholastic.</p>
<p>All novel entries are sent directly to nationals.</p>
<p>It’s also a great resume-building thing – the Scholastic Writing Awards is quite prestigious.</p>
