Friend of mine is being overdramatic, and clearly cannot handle it. Is asking me how to withdraw from the core andthe repercussions to do so, and I couldn’t find anything online. Any help is appreciated.
There are cadets assigned as counselors who your friend can talk to if he is not sure. It is not uncommon to hate it the first semester. Dropping out is definitely an option though. The school holds dorm rooms open to accommodate those who need to quit. You sign some paperwork and move out. Repercussions are limited to those friends you met potentially not liking you, but most people don’t care. They understand it is not for everyone.
