Hey guys :P I took my SAT for the first time this December and I was soooo disheartened by my Critical Reading Score. I received an 800 in Math and a 780 in Writing but only a 590 in Critical Reading. I knew I did bad but I didnt think I had dont that badly. Does anyone have tips that have worked really well in the past to increase CR scores? I'm taking it again in March so I need to get better soon. Thanks guys :*

I have a similar score distribution, so I would like to know as well.

All I honestly did was memorize vocab words I didn’t know through the collegeboard practice tests and I think I got only 3 wrong after doing that. Personally, the passage work is much harder. Especially if you keep second guessing yourself. I would just practice through the tests for that. Mark the sentences on the side that correspond to the questions and answer as your read. Eliminate answers and if you’re not sure, come back to it. Make sure you read quickly but efficiently. My main problem was getting to all the questions in that short period of time. So just practice under the time crunch. Afterwords, I would redo the ones I got wrong and mark my test again. Usually the 2nd time I do loads better than the first.
