How to raise my ACT science score?

Hey everybody,

I recently took the act as a 7th grader and scored a 25 Composite, 24 Science, 28 Reading, 28 English, and 19 Math, the reason on the low math score is lack of the material, and I know that will come, but are there any tips/tricks on how to score higher in science? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!

My son took the ACT practice tests – he found that on the science section he did MUCH better if he didn’t even look at the question first – but instead he looked at the data (be it a graph, chart, chemical formulas, etc.—and then he read the question. When he did this – he didn’t get confused and he ended up scoring a 35. Get a practice test…try this method and see if it doesn’t help you jump to the wrong answer.

Thanks, that’s really helpful advice!
