Will we have our own mailboxes and mailing address that get can mail delivered to? How does mail work at UMass Amherst?
So for textbooks and personal items that I buy online, do I have to make them get shipped to a certain building on campus and then pick them up or will I have my own personal mailing address?
You have your own mailing address. You can find it on SPIRE under the same tab which has your roommate info. Small things like letters and cards will go straight to your mailbox (which is on the main floor of your building). All other packages will go to the RSD. RSDs are typically located in 1-2 of the dorms in each area and you’ll get an email notifying you when you can pick up a package. I think they’re open from like 8am to 11pm or something like that.
