How to reject UCSD?

Sorry but the TritonLink website is very confusing...where do we go to tell UCSD that we won't be attending?

u dont even have to do that... just submit to the school that you're gonna go to and just leave it at that... thats what i did.

On mine, you sign in and get to the "welcome" message, and then click continue. On the next page there is a big grey box, and under the box it says "I wish to decline UCSD's offer".

is it not considered impolite to just ignore the college ur not going to?

lol man...it isn't that hard to click one button

yes but it is hard to get to the page, ucsd really needs to re-organize their websites. very helpful, ihatehighschool.

Yeah, the website layout isn't the most user friendly. Today was a bad day to access Tritonlink too with all the students trying to sign up for and drop their classes.

did they get rid of the option to send back matriculation decisions by snail mail?

sorry for not being helpful....i guess it could be a hassle using the webpage....

lol "impolite"...lol...they could give a crap about what you do. Just go to the one you want and every other school you reject will figure it out. Like right now UNLV is sending me mail like I'm practically enrolled already even though I definitely not going there.

Yea, if you can't access the page where you deny their admission, just submit your SIR to where you truly want to go and you'll be fine.

If you actually tell the school that you reject their offer, then some other people will have the opportunity to be able to enroll in the fall, or from the waitlist(if it applies). Please don't just ignore. As cheerchick012 said, just log-in, you'll see the congratulations message, click continue, then i wish to decline, and you'll be good to go.

Why would he care about the ppl on the waitlist?

^
lol how kind of you

honestly though i think it doesn't really matter if you decline the offer right now or not, becasue they take into consideration that a lot of people are going to say no when they accept people, so i doubt you declining it now is going to make a difference for the rejected people

Ok, some people don't care about others on the waitlist, which is fine with me cuz its not my business...but say I cared, and i want to tell them that i'm not coming. Anyone have a link direct to the login page? Would be most helpful. sikanlee?
