I need help. I am applying to a few schools that require a high school and college transcript. I have my AA degree. How is it possible to have my ACTS scores removed off my high school transcript? I desperately want these removed so colleges won't look at that. For example, I am applying to Cornell. Transfers are not required to have standardized test scores, but mine shows on my hs transcript and it's horrible. I tried asking the guidance counselor at the high school to remove it, but she didn't. Is there any way that I can prevent my scores being shown to the institutions I apply to?

You need to speak with the person who is in charge of issuing the transcripts. This might not be your counselor. In many schools, the job title is “Registrar”. Ask to have transcripts issued that do not include your standardized test scores.

My UNIVERSITY does this. I asked my HS counselor to have them removed off my high school transcripts and she complied. However, my UNIVERSITY (sorry, this still baffles me) registrar will not listen.

Rhetorical question : WHY THE F**K WOULD MY HIGH SCHOOL CREDENTIALS BE AVAILABLE ON MY COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT?!?!?!?!
