How to retract subject test scores from UC application

Hi,

I completed the UC application and submitted it on the Nov 30 deadline, however on the application I stated that I was taking the SAT Math II Subject Test that took place on December 2 as I thought that it would assist me with admittance. However, I just got the score back and it was a 610. Since the application states that I planned on taking the math 2 subject test, is there anyway that I can retract this? Or is simply not sending in the score okay?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Do not send in the score. You cannot change your application at this point. SAT Subject tests are only recommended and not required.

The issue is that on the application I stated that I was taking the test in december in the test scores section. Do you think I need to send an email to explain that although I stated on my application I was sending in a score, I am no longer sending in?

UC’s require all SAT I or ACT scores, but do not require the SAT 2 scores, so you are not obligated to send in those scores. You could email UC admissions and say they are not being sent, but probably will make little difference since they will not hold your application for review past the deadline so they will not be considered.
