How to say "top choice" in another way

There is this school that I really like, and its a close #2 on my list. However, I’m still addicted to my #1 (i went ED and got deferred). My parents keep forcing me to say at the end of my essay to #2 “…it is my top choice.” Not “one of my top choices” or “a top choice” but “my top choice” because they think it will show that I really want to go there. However, I can’t remain honest to myself and say its my top choice when that honor belongs to another school, even though I really love #2 as well. What can I say instead at the end of my essay that will convey that I really want to go there without explicitly saying that its the one school I want to go to more than any other?

One of my top choices?

email and call them!
let em know you are interested!

tell them that if they accept you that you will almost definately attend...

most of the people i know get rejected by their top choice... most more commonly attend 2nd/3rd choices... so yes, this wouldnt be a lie...

but really i dont think youd go to hell for telling them they were your top choice =/

You could say it's your "clear goal" to attend that college, I guess.
