you always have something violence-related on your mind, don't you naidu? But let us not spam this thread, I'm at TiT.

whatever .

HEY! You just edited your post.

it's okay guys...or...girls, um..whatever. Why don't we try to concentrate on the topic at hand?

sorry, but I think its already gone beyond that...

what makes you say that?

nyjunior and I already spammed this thread -> for that I'm truly sorry (don't know about nyjunior though...)

lol. well, it takes more than one to spam a thread.

good one, so you forgive me? Thank you.

as long as this thread continues to be about the original topic till it's inevitable death lol...

You see, naidu, people love me!

did I imply that?

You most certainly did my friend, you just ressurected this thread, thereby implying that you love me.

um...oookay...whatever you say. :)

Back to your original topic, let us recap what you need to do.

1) Develop a solid thesis because it will set the tone for the rest of your essay. Make it specific, but not laundry-list specific.

2) Use appropriate examples clearly, and in-depth. It is better to extremely develop two good examples than to just briefly describe four. You can use books, personal experiences, current events, etc.

3) Length does matter. Quality IS more important than length, but if you have a high-quality essay, chances are that you will also have an essay with decent length. There have been sharp correlations made between length and scores. Not that I am saying you should make your essay verbose, just make it flow, and it shall cover more lines than you may imagine.

But, as I mentioned earlier, my mind goes totally black during the test. No matter what I've read. It's like trying to stick wood onto a wall with chewing gum, it never sticks!

Are you joking, I can stick wood onto a wall with chewing gum. I mean, how much wood are we talking?

a small... table size piece of wood. like 50 or 60 cm wide/long.

Hey, if you get enough gum, it can be done. I'm going to email the producers of Mythbusters and see if they can arrange this for us. But as far as your original problem is of concern, have you been tested for ADD. My brother has it, and he has to take like a pill a day to keep his attention up to normal. It sounds scary, but it really isn't, I'm just saying, as a last resort, since you are insisting you cannot keep attentive.

Don't you have the thirst for knowledge that the rest of us here at CC (with the exception of Naidu) have? You see my friend, without this urge, without this desire, there is no incentive for SAT success. You have to kind of, sort of, maybe, even have some fun playing this GAME ('cause that's all it is) and have the desire to go through the various levels and beat the monster they call the CollegeBoard.

lol. good luck with the wood gum thing.

and I don't think I have ADD. I can concentrate just fine on everything but SAT!
I have a thirst for knowledge, but it's been appeased, I believe, after taking it so many times.
