How to score a 650 on CR and Math Sections of SAT I

<p>My goal is to score a 650 on those two sections.</p>

<p>What is the best combo of books to use to score a 650 on those two sections. And what about the writing?</p>

<p>I was told to use the Blue Book. However I scored a 400 on the Math and I am pretty weak. I need to find a prep book where I can OWN on the Math section. For that I was told by someone to use Gruber's Complete SAT Guide.</p>

<p>Can anyone help me out here. I have a month until the March SAT. I need a 650 on the Math and CR. I also need to do well on the writing. Any advice...?</p>

<p>I think the Blue Book is a must have, and most people think Gruber’s and Rocket Review’s book are the best prep materials…</p>

<p>Use Barron’s Critical Reading Workbook for the SAT for CR. It’s very good and helped me score +700 from an original score of 580.</p>

<p>I don’t know for Math section, though. I’m currently using Barron’s, but I haven’t finished it yet (so, I can’t tell you about it’s efficacy).</p>

<p>Blue book is really good. Read through the book and take all of the practice tests. Also on CR the biggest mistake is over interpreting the text. SAT CR questions are stupid if the answer is not specifically stated or implied in the text it’s wrong.</p>

Grubers for Math</p>

<p>What about for writing section</p>

<p>I will obviously pick up the blue book and read that over and do all the tests in it since they are the only real ones.</p>

<p>What is rocket review and what should I use it for?</p>

<p>Is this a good combo? This will be my second time taking them. I need to get like a 2250 on this guys.</p>

<p>Any further advice would be EXTREMELY helpful, you guys have helped me out a lot already.</p>
