How to score well on the ACT essay?

Im taking the ACT +writing tomorrow morning and im anxious about the essay. I have taken it before, I have gotten two 9's and an 8. What are some tips to score 10 or above?

I know i have to use specific examples, strong transitions, and address the counter argument. Is there a successful way to format my essay to do so?

Write until your hand falls off, and then start using your other one. Literally.

It’s an argumentative essay that requires little prosaic ability. Generally speaking, the more you write (and make sure to include that elevated and bombastic diction!), the higher you will score; however, don’t just write obvious filler crap.
