I am pretty solid in Calc and have taken physics honors two years ago, which basically brushed over all the ap physics c topics and algebra-based.
Which prep books are the best?
Prep books are meant for mostly review and are used as a supplement though, so are there any online resources/classes where I can learn the content thoroughly?
Mooney’s AP Advantage plus solving old MCs and FRQs over and over again.
Prep Books are not for review in my book. I did every released MC, FRQ (literally every released exam that I know of). The only OTHER thing I did, in addition to that, was read a bit through the Princeton Review and do its problem sets. Never touched a textbook, khanacademy, or MITOpenCourseWare, and I got a 5. This was done concurrently with APP1 this year.
Traditional learning is slow, especially for self studying (going through textbooks, watching lectures). Your goal is to break the exam and get a top score, not do what people actually taking the classes do. Self studying should be seen that way, as that is when it truly shines over taking a traditional class.
I read through Princeton Review and did almost all of the old FRQ’s for the two AP Physics C exams in order to prepare. I also did a few MC for each test (~2-3).
