How to self study for AP Biology?

<p>How do i go about stuying for the AP biology test? I'm currently a sophomore, and I'm currently taking a biology class, but I'm not really learning anything. Especially, on the AP level. So, I have the Cliifnotes AP Bio book, and the Biology book by Reece and Campbell. So shoot me up on some advice. Waiting eagerly for some advice...</p>

  1. Do colleges see my AP scores, even if I don’t include it on my transcript? Or is it like the SAT, in the sense that, they automatically see it.</p>

<p>what do you mean by per college? What if I don’t select any colleges? Is it that when I DO select a college, I have to tell CB not to send my scores? For example, if I was to send my SAT scores, and AP scores, and transcripts to a BS/MD program, do I need to tell CB not to show them my AP scores?</p>

<p>It’s really vague. In the end, just know that they want your money. Ask your GC to explain it to you.</p>

<p>^my GC is stupid. My school offers NO AP classes. I’m completely self-studying for this, especially to show BS/MD programs, and colleges, that I’m dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes. However, I don’t want to get a bad score, and then colleges find out about it…so I’m kind of in a dilemma…</p>

<p>AP scores are self-reported.</p>

<p>If you self-study, pay $80+ for the Bio exam, and fail it, then only your wallet will know.</p>

<p>If you take an AP Bio class at school, take the exam, and fail it, and don’t report your score, colleges might suspect something … hmmm … I see a year of AP Bio here but no AP Bio score :o …</p>

<p>But your school doesn’t offer Bio so just self-study and rest assured that if you fail no one will have to know but yourself and your wallet :p.</p>

<p>I think the curve is around 75-80% for a 5…</p>
