In general, I would say you should get a good review book and learn the material from a textbook, online notes/lectures, etc. For AP Computer Science, I’m looking at Stanford lectures for a course that also has little assignments for me to work on. I’m also taking notes from online notes and studying from Barron’s. If the course or a similar course is offered at your school, you can probably get help from a teacher on topics that you can’t understand. The internet has a ton of resources that you can take advantage of, so it’s not necessary to spend a ton of money. Which APs are you self-studying?

learn from the review book and take practice tests from collegeboard.org

I’m using MIT OpenCourseWare and random sites I find on the internet.
