<p>Recently, I led my high school's academic team to our first ever district tournament win and we will be competing at the regional level for the first time in school history in April. Would it be worth it to let the schools I'm looking at (WashU, Northwestern, Ivies, etc.) know that we won the district tournament? If so, how should I let them know? Do I simply send an e-mail saying, "hey, look what I did."?</p>
<p>Most schools have a fax number. Check their indiv websites. I recall reading that Cornell no longer wants updates. It may be so with other colleges, too</p>
