I plan on sending a supplementary rec along with my Common App (that is, in addition to the 2 teacher evaluations and the counselor rec). However, I can't seem to figure out exactly how I should go about doing that, since I'm applying to multiple unis.

Should I make photocopies of the letter and ask the person who wrote it to sign them, or will he have to send originals to every uni individually?

I know this question's prolly been asked before, but I can't seem to find a straightforward answer.

I'm an international student btw, if that somehow impacts the answer XD

" make photocopies of the letter and ask the person who wrote it to sign them" YES. Just place them in envelopes and mail them – ensuring your name is clearly on each letter. This is the most simple way – and perfectly acceptable.

^ Yes. Good advice.
however, know that many univeristies only accept LORs that are sealed–NOT seen by the student — so that they know it was written in confidence. And many AdComs do not entertain “additional” LORs so check each set of instructions for each university.

Also, you need to check the rules of the particular colleges to which you are applying since many say they do not want things not requested sent such as extra rec letters.
