How to send FAFSA to more than 10 schools.

I’m applying to more than 10 schools and many of my schools have February 1st deadline.

I’ve read the past threads that talks about how once you submit the 10 schools and wait 3-5 days for it to be processed, you can delete those schools from the list and add new set of schools.

However, that’s not what some schools that I called to today. The schools that I called to told me that I need to keep those schools on the list because they don’t download FAFSA until April, and if I don’t have them on the list, they can’t download my FAFSA.

Any clarification on this?

I don’t believe this to be the case. The FAFSA is processed through student transactions. Schools #1-10 will receive transaction #1, and schools #2-20 will see transaction #2. By deleting the first school and then adding the second group doesn’t mean that your entire first transaction gets deleted. That would be ridiculous. Just wait for your first SAR to be processed and then submit the other set of schools.
