How are you supposed to send first quarter grades. Can you only do it through your guidance counselor? Or is there a way I could send my actual report card and copies to schools I am applying?

I think my grades are worth sending...

If you apply EA to Wellesley, it does require first quarter grade. But it also requires you to submit your first semester grade. So the answer is, it depends on the school. There should be a form for you to ask your counselor to fill out, it should be similar to the mid-year report from the common application.

The school here does it differently. They will send out the transcripts directly to the colleges if you want, or you can pick it up in an envelope (school stationery, sealed and stamped over the seal with this declaration "unofficial if seal broken") and send it yourself. Sometimes this is useful if you need to express mail it or something they won't do. You don't actually go through the guidance counselors here, you go to the registrar.

Ask at your school. It may have its own way of doing things. Anyway, it shouldn't be difficult to accomplish.
