How to send letter of recommendation?

<p>I graduated high school this past June, decided to take a gap year for personal reasons and am now applying to UCF, UF, Smith, and FSU. I guess Smith is the only one that needs a letter of recommendation...? My Sophomore English teacher is writing one for me, as she knows me very well and can write an excellent reference. </p>

<p>Smith uses the common app. If I print off her letter of rec. that she sends me, can I give it to my former guidance counselor so she can officially mail it to the college? or can I just mail it myself?</p>

<p>You’re going to need to check with the specific policy at the schools to which you are applying. Many schools have an online form for people to submit LORs directly. </p>

<p>@mouseinablender3 One of my D’s teachers sent her letter directly to Smith. My D provided a stamped, addressed envelope to the teacher, and the teacher printed and mailed the letter.</p>
