I'm currently a HS junior and I'm looking forward to applying ED for Cornell ILR in my senior year.
Is there anything I can do to gain an advantage in my ILR fit?

Certain classes, programs, clubs?

It's fairly easy to make a club in my school, so I can go ahead and do that, if you guys have any suggestions on what to make.

I'm taking a Sociology class, advanced Literature, and AP Econ as my electives right now, do those classes help my app at all?
What senior year elective choices would help me most next year in my app? Would taking Constitutional Law help at all? Any other classes?

What can I do now to show a really good ILR fit?

I'm a humanities oriented person (strengths in english/writing/history etc) in general, rather than maths/sciences.

ILR is my dream school, and I'd really like to show the best fit possible since I heard that its very decisive factor in admissions. What can I do to show that I'm immensely well-suited to the college? Writing/Econ/Law combo suits my interests perfectly, what ILR focuses on, how can I show this through my app?

My GPA isnt great, mostly bc I go to a rigorous top-ranked NYC HS. I actually have two Cs on my transcript (from math and chem in 9th and 10th grades). I'm really hoping to show a good fit. I feel like I really need to in order to stake any chance at getting a chance.

Any suggestions/help here?
