How to show interest in a college?

Summer is approaching and my junior year is almost over. I'm very interested in the U of MN Twin Cities and I was wondering what I could do to show my interest?
Any advice is helpful!

Visit, visit, visit!!

And request information via their website.
And perhaps contact their Admissions counselor.

(:

^yeah
and, once you’ve applied see if you have some additional research statement etc that you can send them separately.

I agree with all of the statements above and also try to get an interview.

I don’t know why none of the previous posters has stated an obvious fact:

U of MN Twin Cities does not weigh “interest” in admissions. They are a large state school which will or will not admit you based on your GPA and test scores.

Visit their site and see how you fit. Ask your guidance counselor if your HS feeds other students into this college.

Thanks for all the replies! Should I just email the freshmen counselor and ask for an interview?
What should I expect?

wg: again I refer you to their admissions site. They don’t offer interviews it seems. There’s a page where you sign up to visit – I’m sure an admissions counselor will meet you to answer any questions. I’m sure if you show enthusiasm, matched by GPA and solid ACT/SAT, you’ll do fine. Make sure you think through the fin aid/tuition side of things. Good luck.
