How to show unique EC?

<p>I know everyone pretty much does community service but my community service work is probably the biggest part of my life. I have more than 1000 hours during HS (and I'm just starting senior year!) with a fundraising organization I founded in sixth grade (Pink</a> Polka Dots Guild).</p>

<p>It's a lot more than what most people do for comm. service, but I don't know how to show that to colleges. How should I indicate on my apps the level of involvement, leadership, etc that it has taken over the years? Because of this I haven't had time for many other ECs and have avoided other leadership positions in school clubs, etc...</p>

<p>Essays, and the common app’s gives you a 150 words or so space to explain your EC in detail.</p>
