I keep myself pretty busy which isn't really a bad thing. I had a cold/flu-like thing recently so i tried to get more sleep (which proved to be rather difficult)

but im feeling better now and into studying for finals next week...but im so tired all the time!! i've been napping and trying to get enough sleep ...

but im just lagging and can't seem to get through a day...
caffiene usually works...but it hasnt lately

i could be just a little burned out but i need to get through the next two weeks and then I will have a month to relax...

any tips on how to convince your body it doesnt need that much sleep??

Drinking cold water is supposed to help you stay awake. Lots of it.
Apples are supposed to keep you awake?
Stay away from caffeine because you’ll just crash.
If you set your word document on blue background, white text (tools>options>general>blue and white background) it is easier on the eyes.

What are you eating? Try to up the protein and lessen the sugar intake, as sugars make you crash. Sleep when you can. Other than that, struggle on through and good luck!

That 5 hour energy stuff works for me, but I always seem to run out at the worst times. Otherwise I wear a thin long rubberband and pluck it hard when I feel sleepy.

the best trick I think is to drink coffee and take a half-hour nap. When you wake-up, the caffeine hits your system and should keep going for a good 3-4 hours.

Those 3-4 hours are…you don’t understand…like a stream of focus!!! It is a good way to study, but I am trying to quit caffeine altogether so I don’t think I will be doing this any longer.

this may seem counterproductive but:
work out. your body needs some rejuvination. doesnt have to be like a SUPER work out. maybe jog 2 miles or ride a bike around campus if you are in a warm environment.

LSD and Mountain Dew, a winning combination. Mushrooms and ectasy are good as well. Or, if your not into hallucinating while doing school work, there’s cocaine, adderall, and speed. Stay away from opiates and barbituates they make you sleepy.

Stay away from all of the “energy supplements” like Rockstar, red bull etc. Exercising will help you snap out of sleepiness even if you feel like you are too tired to do so, just tough it out. Exercising will also help you study, it releases some sort of chemical in your brain that makes you happy and can help you concentrate.

Also, take power naps between 10 and 20 minutes long. If you sleep more than 30 minutes though, I find that I never fully wake up, so keep it short and simple. They really help.
