Does anybody know how to start a radio station? I'm interested in starting a student-produced one in my school, and my school is willing to supply the funds, but where to start? Anybody have expertise with their current radio station?

It takes a lot of money, you should think about working with a local university radio studio. I am a radio DJ for WVPH-FM, which, I believe, is one of the largest and most well-equiped high school radio stations in the country. We work with Rutgers University because it is very expensive to build a radio tower, studio, etc.

Oh, and a quick advertisement. You can listen to me on air every Tuesday from 6:30-7:30, and 2-3 every other Wednesday. The station is 90.3 FM in Central Jersey or thecore.rutgers.edu (http://thecore.rutgers.edu/broadband.m3u)

Thanks ^^^^^

Anybody else??
