I can't think of anything to write about. Anyone find any techniques useful for brainstorming on the given topics?

Thanks

Perhaps you should try to think about a message that you want to send to the admission officers. Maybe you want to show a certain side of your personality or something like that.

Then, think about an event that you could possibly write about and try to send the message that you wanted to capture in the event.

That’s not really how I got my topic, but you could try that :)

Magentaturtle gave you some very food advise! You could easily write a good essay that way. Otherwise, you could go in reverse. Think of something that means a lot to you (some event, person, work of literature, memory, something you overcame, etc.) and figure out what you learned about yourself or how you grew from it.

Remember this: there are no cliched topics, just cliched executions of topics!

Best of luck,
