How to start with a college list/ merit aid needed

We decided to focus on schools instate.

My daughter applied to University of Pittsburgh in August, was accepted and awarded a full tuition scholarship.

She also applied to Duquesne and got an academic scholarship of $20,000.

Other schools she considered applying to for financial safeties were Temple, IUP Cooks Honors College.

But after the news from Pitt about the scholarship arrived, she is done with applications.

A full tuition scholarship is great news (!) especially since she is planning on a Pharm.D.

Look at Wilkes University in Scranton.
Wilkes Scholarship OR Performance Award 1800+ SAT or ACT 28+ or Top 5% HSR* $15,000

Congrats to your D!

@Madison85‌ and @albert69, yes we are so happy that she got the scholarship!

@KKmama‌, UPitt and the city of Pittsburgh just offers so many more opportunities and is closer to us than Wilkes and Temple would be. And the net price of Wilkes is higher than the room and board at Pitt.
