I am becoming unable to concentrate on my homework or study, because I can't stop thinking about this guy in school. I really want to do well in school. Every time I read, my mind starts wandering off to this guy. And I try to snap myself out of it and read, but then it intrudes my thoughts again. How can I get these things out of my mind to be able to focus or concentrate on my homework?

I already tried thinking that my future career is more important.

think of something that you like to do, way more than you like that guy… or make yourself believe you like doing homework way more than some guy

Are you in tenth or eleventh grade? If you are, I definitely recommend you keep yourself busy. That is, if you really are interested in going to a great college, the best thing to do is to try to… ohh, how do I say this… SAVE HIM FOR LATER? Believe me, the last thing you want to do is get distracted. I got my first boyfriend in my tenth grade year and to tell you the truth, that year was the WORST. YEAR. EVER (Academically). I love my boyfriend, but he was actually one of the main reasons why I burned out. Now, I’m working my arse off in eleventh grade. The last thing you want is to burn out, especially if you’re looking to keep your college application looking good.

ANYWAYS! I can’ts rants no mores. Just try to “push him to the side”, ye’know what I mean? I guess that’s all I can say to you. Good luck.
