How To Stay Focused

Every school year, I always say "I"m going to make all A's and be a better student." For the first half of school I'd do extremely well making good grades and all. Then in the second half, I'd do poorly. Making C's on my report card and slacking on my school work. It kills me every year to see my transcript and now that I have a 3.2 GPA I'm determined to have all A's my junior year, but there are some odds against me. I'm taking two AP classes (APUSH and AP Chem) I'm also going to a performing art school two times a week while going to dance class which is once a week. I'm also a active member in three clubs, as well. If anyone else has a really loaded schedule like I do now or has had the same problem, how did you get through this? What techniques do you use to stay focused? Any advice at all would be helpful.

You have to re-motivate yourself everyday. Keep your end goal in mind constantly.

I have post it notes in my wall so when I get in late and tired I have to look at my goals before I go to sleep. Grant it sometimes this isn’t helpful and makes me meltdown but normally it focuses me.
I also buy a lot of chocolate and hide it around my room so that when I need to study i can motivate myself via chocolate.
I think it’s just remembering why this is your goal. Why do you want to make all As? Is it to get into a good college? Hang pictures of this college around your room remind yourself of your goal.

I am exactly like you NoSuchThingAs and I have college posters on my wall to help be achieve my goals. Like my friend he wants to go to Iowa so he does his homework with a pen he got from Iowa.
I play football and to help me remember to train hard I have a poster of Emmit Smith on my wall and Dorial Green-Beckman(Im a WR and he is a WR)
