How to stop obsessing over colleges in high school.

I'm now choosing to recognize my obsession over getting in to college and the unhealthy amount of pressure I am putting on myself in high school which will probably lead to major letdown come college admission time when all my unrealistic colleges send me a reality check. I'm thinking I really need to get a life and stop this madness. I'm guessing the first step would to be get off of CC. Anyone else experiencing this/have ideas?

Well just being on this site rises your hormonal activity about colleges.

LOL science nerds, please don’t take that sentence seriously ;p

Find another obsession. This time, something that does not stress the heck out of you.

honestly no point in stressing out especially if you’re a senior and you still have 3 months till all the major RD decisions come out.

I’m not in your position, but I can give you a universal piece if advice.

Live in the present.

Ponder on this statement…maybe even tell me what you think it means in your situation or even in life.

Well, for me, this site gave me the motivation to pick up my grades. I had a 3.33 GPA my freshman year, and when I discovered this site during my sophomore year, I jumped to a 3.9-4.0. It was a huge reality check for me, and now I am actually somewhat competitive for top schools.

seems impossible unfortunately :)

I know. You could bomb one semester. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about competetive schools.

the fact that im worrying about Univ. of San Francisco with a 2180 in my SAT should be a good indicator about how many semesters ive bombed
