How to stop silly mistakes?

<p>It seems the only thing that is stopping me from an 800 in math and a 36 in the ACT math is really just simple mistakes. I really know how to solve every problem except I tend to make simple mistakes on the first half of the test. This is generally the most frustrating thing that happens to me.</p>

<p>Go back and check your work. Try to leave at least 5 minutes every section to check work.</p>

<p>Read the question carefully, read what the question is asking about twice, do not skim through long problems or even short ones, read every single word carefully</p>
