How to study Barrons Math IIC?

I have been sudying this book during the last 2 weeks or so. Went through all the material and took more than half of the model tests from the back. I could describe my testing experience as fair, could solve 35-40 questions easily on each test BUT was stuck on the remaining 15-10. So I decided to take a Sparknotes test(I had heard they were quite similar to the real thing).

Took the first one carelessly, scored 730 and took the 2nd the next morning, scored 750. Found myself disappointed. Reviewed my test mistakes and found a couple of typos and a wrong answer explanation, which made me think twice before seriously considering Sparknotes.

Now I'm in a dilemma. Shall I study Sparks' and try to figure out their mistakes or shall I get back to Barron's? Besides, if i get back to Barron's what's the best way to maximize my score?

Do both, that's what I did and got an 800. Take all the Barron's tests and review as you need to. The questions are way harder, but through practice with that, you get a lot better! Sparknotes, despite the errors, is pretty close to the real thing, as far as I could tell. Take all the tests you can and you'll get better and better.

I did both and sparknotes really has too many mistakes. Barons is awesome and I didn't find that their tests' difficulty really surpassed the real one by much. The most important thing, I think, is to know how to work your graphics calculator. If you're smart about it and understand the concepts, then it's not hard just to plug and play.

Like stix, I used both sources and got 800

The thing is, I am planning to take the test without a graphing calculator and it's too late to change plans now.

Why can't you have a graphing calc, since Collegeboard does say that it is required for some questions? You can't borrow one from school or a friend? There is undoubtably some way to get your hands on one, and taking it without one would be stupid.

Actually I may borrow one from a close friend, but I'm not sure wether I can adapt myself to make proper use of it on the test day. It's less than 3 weeks away and I haven't crammed for biology yet.

I am also considering to order one from the US but delivery to Europe will take a lot of time I suppose(as it did for my books).

You need to get one. Just spend some time with it (Barron's has a short section on it) and get use to its abilities. It can be very helpful with a short amount of "practice". If you can get one, DO IT
