So the AP exam is coming up for APUSH and it will be my first AP exam, I am a little lost on how to begin preparing. Any advice?

Do you have a class with a good teacher? If you do, you’re mostly prepared already. Many suggest the AMSCO review book to brush up.

If you don’t have a good class, you should get the AMSCO book and maybe find one other major resourse(textbook, online notes, other prep book).

My teacher, although very nice is not much of a good teacher. Thankfully she gave us a AMSCO book. Ill be sure too look at it.

You can also take the simulation exams here:

Pretty much 99% like the real exam. If you struggle with those questions then you need more review/practice. It helped me alot when I was preparing to take the exams.

Get the content down by reviewing mutiple times the info(using PR,AMSCO,etc)
Find the rubric for DBQs/FRQ and memorize it
Practice writing a few DBQs
Take mutiple practice tests
