How to study for SAT II Chinese

Is there any book or something to study for this?

I once had a book of practice tests, but it was weirdly hard. I say "weirdly" because I heard that the actual test is MUCH easier, and everything (except for Listening) has Pinyin on it. The book I had had medical terms in Chinese (diabetes, heart attack, cancer). Isn't that a bit too difficult??

Is there some book with a lesson plan (like Barron's, even though I know they dont have it for Chinese)?

I never took the Chinese SAT II nor am I Chinese, but from what I recall when I stole a glance at the test while taking the French SAT, I think the grammar section had pinyin, simplified, and traditional. On the other hand, the reading comp and stuff was given only in simplified, I think (do keep in mind that this was 2 years ago so my memory is somewhat faulty and my knowledge of Chinese hardly goes beyond "ni hao" ^^).

Now I'm going to speak generally of foreign language tests, but you probably wouldn't need to know any medical terms, though some may occasionally show up as extra hard vocab.

As for prep books, as I've mentioned before, I never took it before, so I can't really say anything =X

oh I see. yeah... i've been searching for quite a while for some SAT II Chinese prep book but never do they have one

I've seen ones for SAT II spanish though...

There's not really a book. The closest you'll come to is the Official College Board guide to the subject tests and the previous Real SAT II Test. Only the Grammar (usage) section has Pinyin. The reading has both traditional and simplified.

Where can I buy the previous Real SAT II tests?

^^

you can buy the official SAT II book, which contains all subjects. But its kinda a waste of money if you only want one test condisering the book is 20 sth dollars.

its actually like a joke if you are native tongue.

also you can find some sample questions on the CB website, I believe.
