I am taking the SATs in March..so i have around a month to study, what would b the most effective way for me to study?

From what I have read so far, Cracking the SAT for strategy and the practice tests, and College Board "blue" book for practice tests.

is it possible to raise my score from around a 1800 to at least a 2000?

i meant can i raise my score to a 2000 in a month

I haven't read many of RocketReview's chapters, but the one's I have read have led me to believe that it's a very good book.

I also recommend the official sat study guide (by college board), but do not use their strategies, only buy it for the practice tests.

Yeah, I think it's doable. Just be sure to study for at least an hour every night and do at least one practice question each weekend.
