how to study without a book?

Yeah so my mom refuses to buy any ACT prep books for me since she's happy with my SAT score (but I'm not).
I do have a "red book" that I got last year prior to deciding between ACT/SAT. It's the 1st edition.
Would using that to study be stupid?
How can I get online resources to help me study?

Thanks!

Try march2success.com … 7 free tests from peterson’s (sorta army based but w/e) It’s a bit harder than normal so don’t worry if it’s too low. Also google ARCO ACT or something. It’s another thing under peterson… but don’t bother taking the test in there… way too hard

hey, thanks!!

why would your mom refuse to buy you a book to further your score? that’s stupid (no offense you your mom.. just my opinion).. i’d go buy the book myself with my own money and keep studying for however many more tests i think will take me to get my highest score

sparknotes.com has a pretty detailed guide to the ACT

sparknotes has Novels with words that you need for the test highlighted

The SAT vocab novels? … isn’t that for the SAT?
