I have searched the boards and was unable to find a thread addressing this specific question. It appears from the common app website that even if you submit the common app and any required individual college supplements online, that if you are applying ED, you must print out the ED Agreement, have it manually signed by the student, parent and counselor, and send it by snail mail to the college.

Is this correct? Is it so obvious that everyone else except me figured this out?

I know that this (the need to print out hard copy) is correct for a couple of schools that DD is interested in. It think that most schools want a signed document because of the binding nature of ED.

DD checked with her college counselor today; he said that it must be printed out, manually signed by the student, a parent and the counselor, and snail mailed to the admissions office of the school.
